Reginald Nelson Burt was born in 1892 in Brigham City, Utah. His parents were Thomas Albert Burt (1866-1939) and Ingeborg Lenora Nelson (1870-1954). He married Mary Amelia Wight (1894-1996), daughter of Thaddeus Wight (1854-1927) and Harriet Elizabeth Wight (1863-1958), in 1916 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They had seven children. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Utah, New York and Denmark.

Henry Burt came from England about 1638.

Elizabeth Snowball was born 27 June 1846 in Bedlingham, Northumberland, England. Her parents were Thomas Snowball and Elizabeth Garr. They emigrated in 1854. Her parents and a sister died traveling across the plains. She settled in Utah with her remaining siblings. She married John Daivdson Burt (1827-1906).

Ethel Verna Hackworth was born 22 November 1902 in Bedford County, Virginia. Her parents were Edgar Elster Hackworth and Nannie Dickerson Tuck. She married Will Burt, son of Charles Fredrick Tuck and Eunice Ermina Angell, 5 June 1920 in St. Anthony, Idaho. They had eight children. She died in 1965. Alonzo George Chapman, born August 17, 1842, and his wife, Mary Elizabeth Colwell, left New Brunswick, Canada, for California in 1895. He died in Guadalupe, California on June 23, 1927. Allied families include the Colwell and Burt families.

Hyrum Chauncey Gardner, son of Joseph Smith Gardner and Mary Elizabeth Williams, was born 25 March 1874 in Deweyville, Utah. He married Mary Ellen Marshall (1877-1895), daughter of John Marshall, Jr. and Christina Burt, in 1895. They had ten children. He died in 1966 in Liberty, Utah.

John and Deliverance Atchinson of Hatfield, Massachusetts, had four children, 1672-1677. John Atchinson was killed in the Hatfield massacre in September 1677. His youngest child was born the following November. Descendants listed lived in Massachusetts, Connecticut and elsewhere. Includes the Rust, Burt, Wood, Farrington and related families.

He married Mrs. Lucy Stow Hoyt (1758-1845), widow of Reuben Hoyt, in 1781 at Grafton, Massachusetts. She was born at Grafton, the daughter of David Stow (b. 1729) and Lucy Goodnow Stow.
