Anthony Alexander of Tyrrell County, North Carolina, and his wife, Ann, had fifteen children. He died ca. 1741. His great grandson, John Alexander (1757-ca. 1808), the son of Isaac and Zilpha Alexander, was born and died in Tyrell County, North Carolina. He married Joanna Davenport in 1779.
