Descendants of Georg Ulrich (b. ca. 1580-d. 1634) for twelve generations. Georg was a farm operator and mayor of the village of Frebershausen in the Principality of Waldeck, Germany. Several members of the family came to the United States, and branches of the family are located in Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New York, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
