Johan August Fenger (1847-1907) var født på Bilring, Brejning sogn, Ringkøbing, og han døde samme sted. Han var sønnen af Nicolai Ernst Fenger fra Christianshavn, København og Ane Margrethe Busse fra Ringkøbing. Han blev gift 1871 i Hover med Marie Elisabeth Hauch (1853-1897), som var født på Lervanggård, Ølstrup sogn, som datter af Henrik Andreas Rosenauer Hauch fra Tim sogn og Pouline Elsine Nielsdatter Hauge fra Skarrild sogn, Ringkøbing....
