"This booklet contains the names of the ancestors which have been found of William Wadley and his wives, Isabella McKay and Mary Byard. It also contains the names of most of their descendants." (p. 1). William Wadley (1825-1912) was a convert to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who immigrated from Wales to eventually settled in Pleasant Grove, Utah. He married three times, and had children by the last two wives (named above).

The MacKay family appears to have originated in Elgin and Inverness in the Scottish highlands. Alexander MacKay (1796-1843?) married Ann MacIntosh and later Janet MacIntosh. He was the father of seven children. One of his children was Alexander MacKay (1827-1911) who married Mary Cameron. They were the parents of eight children. One of their children was Donald MacKay (1856-1931) who married Marianne James. Descendants live in Scotland and England....

John Taylor was born in Suffolk, England in about 1755. He married Mary Kiser and they had eleven children. They lived in Maryland and Pennsylvania. John died 1 July 1848 in Jackson Township, Greene County, Pennsylvania. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois and Virginia.
