James S. Stahleson, son of Steve Nicholas Stathelson (1892-1953) and Beulah Mae Slay (1899-1946), was born in Alabama in 1927. He married Mildred June Johnson, daughter of James W. Johnson and Beatrice Fulmer. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Germany, South Carolina, Alabama and Texas.
