Seaveren (Severn) Britt (b.1783) was the fourth child of Francis Britt and Esther Townsend of Snowhill, MD, (Coventry Parish records). Francis Britt married Esther Townsend in 1775. He was a descendant of John Britt who was transported by 1678 into Maryland. Severn married Gaynor Lukens in 1811 in Baltimore Co., MD. She was the daughter of Jacob Lukens and (1) Jane Brindley. The method of research used is discussed.

Description
Francis Armstrong (1802-1874) and his wife, Elizabeth McFarland, had had seven children, 1835-after 1844. The family emigrated from Ireland, ca. 1862, and settled at Jamaica, Long Island, New York. Descendants listed, chiefly descendants of their son, Andrew Armstong (1835-1922), lived in New York, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, and elsewhere.
Includes the Moore, Cadwallader, Darmstadt, Callender, Bothwell and other related families.

William Daniel was born in about 1630. He lived in Middlesex County, Virginia. He married twice and had at least two sons, William and Robert, by his first wife. He died in 1698. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, Kentucky, North Carolina, Georgia and elsewhere.
