Description
Major Samuel Lane, son of Richard and Alice Carter Lane, was born about 1628 in London. Sometime before 1663 Samuel Lane had immigrated to Virginia and in 1663 he moved to Maryland. He married Margaret Maulden Burrage, a widow, in 1669 and they made their home in Ann Arundel Co., Maryland. Descendants lived in Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Illinois, Arkansas, and elsewhere.

Description
William Vaughan (ca.1750-1838/1840) immigrated (probably from Wales) to Virginia in the early 1770's and married Fereby Benton about 1772. He served in the Revolutionary War, and they later moved to Tennes see, then Missouri, and finally to Arkansas about 1822. Descendants lived chiefly in the midwest, and on the Pacific coast.

Mathieu Isaac Agé was born in 1670 in Nantes, France. He immigrated to Virginia in about 1700. He married Cecelia Ann Godwin in 1714 in Manakin-Sabot, Goochland, Virginia. Cecelia was born in 1691 in North Nantes, France. He died in 1735 in Manakintowne, Goochland, Virginia. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, Indiana and Texas.
