Description
Lawrence Bilbrey was born about 1770 in Chatham, North Carolina and died between 1850-1860 in Overton, Tennessee. His father was Thomas Bilbrey. He married (1) Alvania Copeland. He married (2) Prudence Gore. There were fourteen known children between the two marriages. Descendants and relatives have lived mainly in Tennessee and North Carolina.

David Morrow was born in 1762 in Maryland. He married Margaret Kelso in about 1783 in South Carolina. They had eight children. David served in the American Revolution. He died in 1843 in Oxford, Mississippi. Traces his descendants in the southeastern states and lists other Morrows found in cemetery, land, marriage and census records.

Isham Reynolds, a son of William Reynolds, was born in 1725. Tradition has it that two of his sons, Isham and William, migrated from Virginia to North Carolina, and then Hawkins County, Tennessee. William and Edward Bethell were living in Virginia about 1750. Both died before 1760. They may have been brothers but this is unknown. Information concerning many of their descendants some of whom favored Quaker beliefs and settled later in Pennsylvania are included in this volume. Reuben Roberts, son of John Isaac Roberts and Willie Holifield, was born in 1744 in England. His family emigrated and settled in North Carolina.
