Myrtle McCarley was born in Ohio in 1887. She was the daughter of Robert McCarley and his fourth wife Eveline Ferrell. She married Gilbert Alexander Lemming and they were the parents of seven children. Information on several of her descendants who continue to live in Ohio and elsewhere, as well as her ancestral lines back to John McCarley, her great great grandfather is included in this material. James Bice married Blanche Edmonds and in 1848 the family emigrated from England to Ontario, Canada, and in 1850 immigrated to Ontanogon, Michigan, shortly thereafter moving to Mineral Point, Wisconsin. Descendants lived in Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio and elsewhere.

Agnes Nancy Boggs was born in 1775 probably in Pennsylvania. She married Alexander Boggs, probably her cousin and they were the parents of five children. Robert Greene moved to Wales (then part of Brimfield), Massachusetts in 1743, and married Sarah Rogers in 1744. They had nine children, 1745-1769. Descendants (chiefly spelling the surname Klonglan, with some spelling it Klongland) and relatives lived in Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, California and elsewhere. Walter Carley was a ship builder in Ireland about 1770. He and his wife had about 9 children. Several of these children brought their families to Canada and some on to the United States before 1850.
