Malcolm Currie, Sr. (1864-1904) married Mary Fullerton Carmichael (1861-1950) in 1881 in River Louison, New Brunswick. They moved from New Brunswick to Whitewood, Saskatchewan and then to Oak Lake, Manitoba. They had twelve children. Malcolm died in Manitoba and Mary died in California. Includes information on their descendants as well as information on Mary's Carmichael ancestors and relatives.

Jesse Ernest Davidson (1893-1984) was born in Red Oak, Iowa. He married Elizabeth Rolfe, also of Red Oak in 1916. Both died in St. Edward, Nebraska. Jesse was the son of George Henry Davison (1867- 1934), born in New York, and Agnes Jane Carmichael (1868-1954), born in Ohio. Descendants live in California, Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Ohio, Michigan, and elsewhere.

John Carmichael (1736-1799) was born in Scotland to Cornelius and Isabella Carmichael. He came to America before 1760 and settled in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. In 1770 he married Isabella Pomeroy and they eventually became the parents of twelve children. By 1795 the Carmichael family had moved south to Tennessee and settled in Washington County. Descendants live in Tennessee, Iowa, Texas and other parts of the United States.

Thomas Patrick (1788-1858), son of Thomas and Sarah O'Neil Patrick, and his wife, Rachel Blackall (1781-1881), daughter of Waltho and Elizabeth Barrington Blackall, had six children, 1815-1832.
