Willard Lamoni Carr was born 8 August 1910 in Bountiful, Utah. His parents were Willard Gallard Carr and Annie Charlotte Call. He married Carmen Streeper (1915-1989), daughter of Herbert Rex Streeper and Voila Rosetta Smith, 12 Jun 1936. They had five children.

Chiefly a record of the genealogy of Joseph Carr. Joseph was born 17 May 1785 in Jamestown, Rhode Island, to Ebenezer Carr and Mary Underwood. He married Sarah Westgate. She was the daughter of John Westgate and Priscilla Fish. The family moved to Troy, now the city of Fall River, Massachusetts. He died 16 Oct 1854. She died 1 Jul 1870. They were the parents of ten children. Descendants lived mostly in Massachusetts. .
