Christopher Perring (1752-1828) lived near Axminster, England. He married (1) Rebecca Orchard in 1796 at Whitechurch (Dorset) and after her death, (2) Eunice Orchard, her sister. Eunice immigrated to Livonia, Indiana in 1830. Their son, Cornelius (1806-1881) married Susan Hine in 1828. Descendants lived in Indiana, Missouri, Kentucky, Illinois, and elsewhere.

He married Sarah Reasor (1810-1861), daughter of Fredrick Reasor and Sarah Kester, in 1828 in Floyd County Indiana. They had nine children. They migrated to Utah in 1850. Michael Reasor (1760-1843), a Revolutionary War soldier, was born at Winchester, Virginia, the son of Michael Reasor (1735-1829), and a descendant of Wellington Reasor, immigrant of 1653. He married Anna Herbert (1760-1847) at Winchester in 1782. They had eleven children, 1782-1805. The family migrated to Spencer County, Kentucky, in 1797.
