Joseph and Julia Turgeon married ca. 1875 lived in Otter Lake, Pontiac County, Québec. Joseph was born in Bryson, Québec in 1857, son of Pierre Turgeon. Ancestors are traced to Barthelemi Toussaint born ca. 1662 in Savigne, France. (Name was changed from Toussaint to Turgeon to Sturgeon). Descendants lived in Ontario and elsewhere. Also includes Plank family of Wisconsin and New York and Christianson family of Norway and Canada.
