The information in the index cards summarizes the information included in the census, listing name of parent; post office or street address; name of tribe if Indian or freedman and name, race, sex, birthdate (day, month, year) and age of child. Also tells whether the child was deaf, dumb or blind. The actual census forms include the same information but may also include notes and attendance records. These case files are generally arranged in numerical order. Some files which contained confidential information were not filmed. Some files were filmed out of order because they were located after filming had already begun.

These records include a volume of marriages recorded between 1917-1934 at Wilson, Oklahoma.

These record books have varying titles and appear to have been organized in several series and then combined. What they have in common is that they record land transactions which happened before statehood in the area that became Carter County. The records include mortgages, liens and deeds in addition to records pertaining to Indian allotments and homesteads. Many of the volumes are titled "Old Record.".
