Michael Cassell (c1775-1852), a son of Nicholas Cassell and Rosina Rambacher, lived in Virginia. He married Elizabeth Carpenter (ca. 1774-ca. 1860) before 1797. They had nine children. Many descendants live in Virginia.

James Franklin Cassell was born 22 October 1849 in Morristown, Tennessee. He was the son of John Michael Cassell and Frances Ann Umberger. James married Christina Gruseclose in 1890 and Mary Emily Sprangler in 1897. James was the father of seventeen children and died 6 March 1830. Descendants lived primarily in Virginia, Washington, Indiana and elsewhere.

Emigrant ancestor Johan Michael Braun (1724-1785) was born in Palatine. He arrived at Philadelphia, Pa. in 1737, and settled in East Hannover, Lebanon Township, Lancaster Co., Pa. (later Dauphin County and now Lebanon County). He married Anna Karger in 1746. They had ten children born in Pennsylvania.

George Henry Waesche, son of John Henry Waesche, was born in 1807 in Eddesoe, Hanover, Germany. He emigrated in 1821 and settled in Maryland. He married Catherine Cassell, daughter of George Cassell, in 1828. They had nine children. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Maryland.

Hans Conrad Keller, baptized 1706 and his wife, Barbara Blaar, baptized 1703, emigrated from Wallissellen, Zurich, Switzerland in 1734. Their son, John Casper Keller was born in 1736 and baptized in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Conrad later died in Frederick County, Maryland. Descendants lived in Maryland, Alabama, and elsewhere.
