George Merriman/Merryman was born circa 1780 and lived in London, England. He was transported to Australia in 1811. He married Mary Smith in 1813 in Parramatta, New South Wales. They had three children.

The Swango family lived in Bavaria as early as 955 A. D. In 1745, William Schwangauer/Swango with his wife and three sons, immigrated to Philadelphia via Rotterdam.
