Oliver Dunkley was born in about 1660, probably in Britain. He emigrated in about the 1680s and settled in Pennsylvania. He had one known son, Richard Dunkley, who was born in about 1690. Richard married Esther and they had nine children. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas. Wiley Reeves was born in Granville County, North Carolina and came to York County, South Carolina about 1790. He married Rebecca Thompson in 1788 in Granville County. The couple had nine children. Between 1800 and 1820 he moved to Georgia and for a time lived in Jasper County. His descendants moved into neighboring counties in Georgia.

Hezekiah Chaney Jr. (b.1788) was the son of Hezekiah Chaney Sr. He married (1) Alpha Nuckolls, daughter of Nathaniel Nuckolls and Henrietta Garland of Wythe Co., Virginia in 1809. They moved to Monroe Co., Tennessee first, then later to Talladega, Alabama. He married (2) Elizabeth Wright in 1846. They then moved to Cass Co., Texas. He was the father of fourteen children. Several generations of descendants are given.
