Record consists primarily of the descendants of Arna's sibling, Malissa Ola Rothgeb, who was born on 8 April 1877 in Cheshire, Gallia, Ohio and died on 10 November 1964 in Melbourne, Florida. James W. Childers (b. ca. 1777, d. in the 1860's) migrated from South Carolina to Iredell Co., North Carolina. He and his wife, Margaret Munday (b. 1780), daughter of William Munday, had at least four sons, ca. 1805-1818. The book chiefly lists descendants of their third son, William Riley Childers (b. 1815), who married Zelphia C. King (b. 1814).
