Charles Nebeker Choate was born in 1900 in Orme, Marion Co., Tennessee to parents who were converts to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1895. The family moved to Lewiston, Cache Co., Utah and he married in 1921.

Description
Joseph Hodges Choate was born 24 Jan 1832 in Salem, Massachusetts, the son of Margaret Manning Hodges and George Choate. He was a prominent American lawyer and served as the US ambassador to the United Kingdom from 1899-1905. He was married to Caroline Dutcher Sterling in 1861. He died on 14 May 1917 in Manhattan, N. Y. He is buried in the Stockbridge Cemetery in Stockbridge, Massachusetts.

Granville H. Cox (1822-1888) was born to Samuel and Susan Fender Cox in Grayson County, Virginia. He married Nancy Cornelia Choate in 1843. Their twelve childeren lived in Virginia, North Carolina, Missouri and elsewhere.

Family history of Alexander and Adam Lamb, believed to be the sons of Hugh Lamb who came to America from Scotland c. 1753. Alexander Lamb was born 1782 in Pennsylvania. He married Elizabeth Carmack 1802 in Tennessee where he died in 1862. They raised nine children. Adam Lamb was born c. 1785 in Pennsylvania. He married Nancy Viney Kelly c. 1793 in Tennessee where he died in 1857. They raised eleven children.

Robert Land fought with the British in the Seven Years War in 1758 and he remained loyal to the British during the Revolutionary War when he was a courier for the British army. During the war his family were treated as traitors and eventually moved to New Brunswick.
