Daniel Chrisman (d. ca. 1755) with his wife Elizabeth Margaret arrived on the "Alexander and Anne" at Philadelpia on Sept. 5,1730 from Bavaria. They first settled in Worcester Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, and later in 1735 bought land in Frederick Township, Montgomery County, Pa. They had six children. Joist Hite was born ca. 1685 in Europe. His first wife was Anna Maria (surname unknown). They immigrated to the United States ca. 1710 after the birth of their first child. They lived in Benbrenors Township Pennsylvania and by 1731 settled in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Joist was the father of eight children.
