Verena Zwicky was born 22 October 1818 in Mollis, Glarus, Switzerland. Her parents were Caspar Zwicky and Columbina Elmer. She married Hilarius Zwickey, son of Johann Rudolf Zwicky and Susanna Leuzinger. They were fifth cousins descended from Rudolf Zwicky (1571-1629). They had four children. Jacob Christen (1820-1909) and his wife, Rosina Duerich (1822-1893), had ten children, 1842-ca. 1861. The family emigrated from Zurich, Switzerland, in 1850 and settled at Watertown, Wisconsin. They migrated to a homestead in Stearns County, Minnesota, near Albany, ca. 1868. Descendants lived in Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Washington, California and elsewhere.

Christian Magley (d.1839) married Elizabeth Flickinger, and in 1831 they immigrated (via France) go New York City (Elizabeth died on ship, and was buried at Buffalo, New York). In 1832, the family moved to Licking County, Ohio. Descendants lived in Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, Hawaii and elsewhere.

Peter Aumer was born in about 1630 in Steinwiller, Pfalz, Germany. He died in 1699 in Herxheim, Pfalz. Descendant Jacob Ohmer was born in 1869 in Wernemberg, Pfalz. He married Mathilda Regner (1876-1965) in 1898 in Erie, Pennsylvania. Andoni Omer, who was probably a close relative of Peter Aumer, was born in about 1656. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Germany, France and Pennsylvania.

Jacob Raber was born 23 January 1794 near St. Croix aux Mines, Alsace, France. His parents were Johannes Raber and Barbara Bachmann. He married Catherine Egly (1800-1861), daughter of Jacob Egly and Magdalena Frey, in about 1820. They had eight children. The family came to America in 1837, and settled in Ohio. He died in 1861 in Holmes County, Ohio. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Ohio, Indiana and Illinois.
