The original publication gave descendants of Jacob Christen (1820-1909) and his wife, Rosina Duerich (1822-1893), who emigrated from Zurich, Switzerland, in 1850 and homesteaded in Stearns County, Minnesota, near Albany, ca. 1868, chiefly given on pedigree charts. Jacob Christen (1820-1909) and his wife, Rosina Duerich (1822-1893), had ten children, 1842-ca. 1861. The family emigrated from Zurich, Switzerland, in 1850 and settled at Watertown, Wisconsin. They migrated to a homestead in Stearns County, Minnesota, near Albany, ca. 1868. Descendants lived in Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Washington, California and elsewhere.

Christian Magley (d.1839) married Elizabeth Flickinger, and in 1831 they immigrated (via France) go New York City (Elizabeth died on ship, and was buried at Buffalo, New York). In 1832, the family moved to Licking County, Ohio. Descendants lived in Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, Hawaii and elsewhere.

Han blev gift 1856 i Tim sogn med Ane Kirstine Lauridsen (1840-1918), datter til Laurids Jensen og Susanne Espersdatter. Hun var født i Kogsgård, Tim sogn.
