Description
John Christie was born in 1815 in Scotland. He came to New Brunswick in 1827. His first marriage was to Catherine Elizabeth Balmer (1821-1851?). They had four children. After Catherine's death, John married Elizabeth Jane Gass (b. 1820) on Oct. 18, 1851. They had five children. John died in 1905. Traces descendants from both marriages. Places descendants live include New Brunswick, Ontario, Massachusetts and Florida.

Kate Underwood Morrison (b. 1866) and Evi Willson Christie were married in 1887. They had four children, 1888-1896. Their daughter, Marian Underwood Christie (b. 1896) and Julian Arthur Arntson were married in 1918. They had a son born in 1919. Their son, James Eric Arntson, married June Loraine Peele (b. 1922). He was the son of Dr. Nathaniel and Alice Davenport. He married Nancy Amelia Christie on July 4, 1858. In April 1863, Truair and his family moved to Belmond, Iowa. They had five children. Truair was killed by lightning while cultivating a field on June 12, 1868. Nancy died on January 30, 1922....

James Starr, Sr. (1796-1845)., son of Caleb Star (ca. 1758-1843) Sr. & Nancy "Nannie" Harlan (1796-1845) was born in Cherokee Nation East, Tennessee. He went west in 1835 and later died in Goingsnake District, Cherokee Nation West, Indian Territory. He married Nellie Maugh (ca. 1800-ca. 1847). Includes Harlan, Starr, and Cherokee ancestral lines. Alexander Christie (1814-1882) was born and lived in Aberdeen, Scotland. He married Elizabeth Patterson in 1834. Four of their children, Isabell, William, Alexander and Adam, came to Canada. The first three settled in Manitoba, while Adam settled in North Dakota. Descendants lived throughout Canada and in North and South Dakota, Minnesota, California and elsewhere.

James Graham (1819-1898) was born in Ennis, County Clare, Ireland, son of James Moore Graham and Anna Maria Ievers. He was a successful business man in Melbourne, Australia. He emigrated from Scotland to Australia in 1839 at the age of twenty. He was married to Mary Alleyne Cobham in 1845. They had eighteen children, seven who died in infancy.
