Joseph Clyde Smith was born in 1908 at Provo, Utah, the son of Joseph Smith (1868-1947) and Esther Gee Smith (1875-1947), and the great grandson of Stephen Smith (1791-1857) of Dunston, England, and Capetown, South Africa. He married Leah Johnson, daughter of John W. and Aretta Sabin Johnson, in 1936 at Manti, Utah. They had thwo daughters, 1937-1939. He was living at Provo, Utah, in 1989.
Includes the Heber, Lee, and other related families.

George Danskin was born 21 June 1777 in Cumberland, Dunbarton, Scotland. His parents were William Danskin (1748-1806) and Mary Ann Maine. He married Elizabeth Moffett, daughter of John Moffett and Agnes Cumbernauld, in 1797. They had twelve children. They emigrated and settled first in Canada and then in Iowa.
