Chiefly, a record of descendants of Hugh Cochran who was born near Glasgow, Scotland on April 1, 1760. He migrated to Ohio in 1781. Hugh married first Mary McCarthy in 1785. Mary died in 1800. Hugh married second Rebecca Coughraine. Rebecca died in 1825 in Ohio. Hugh had several children with each wife.

Hiram Peyton Cochran (1790-1831), son of John Cochran (1766-1842) and Ann Peyton Cochran (b. 1770) and grandson of Robert Peyton (b. 1745) and Ann Rush Peyton (1746-1826), married Nancy Stoker (1795-1850), daughter of William Stoker (d. 1851). They had ten children, 1817-1832.

John Price (ca. 1735-1826) was the son of Hyland Price (1709-1737). He lived in Cecil County, Maryland. He had nine known children from two marriages. His brother, Hyland (ca. 1735-1792) had seven known children. Their uncle, John (b. 1718) had three sons, John (ca. 1740-1778), Joseph (1741-1786) and Henry (1745-1790?). Traces descendants and relatives of these cousins in Maryland to about 1850.
