Jane Owens Wardrop, daughter of of Robert Campbell Wardrop and Margaret Evans Owens, was born in 1859 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She married Moroni P. Duncan (d. 1894) in 1875. They had six children. She married James Jones Collett in 1896. They had four children. She died in 1951 in Raymond, Alberta.

William Henry Collett (1836-1888) went from England to India, and married Drusilla Rosemond Harris in Kiddespore, Calcutta, India. They returned to settle in London, England. Clark William Jennings was born in 1929 at Orlando, Florida, the son of Clark William and Mary Sybil Johnson Jennings. He graduated from medical school at Tulane University in 1954. He is living at Hickory, North Carolina, in 1994, with his second wife, Phyllis. He is the father of two sons, a daughter and three adopted daughters. His father, Clark William Jennings, was born in 1900 at Chicago, Illinois, the son of William Buillups Jennings (1863-1951)...

Sarah Isabella Collett (1827-1910) immigrated from England to Christchurch, New Zealand in 1851, married Henry Roil (1824-1862) in 1854 and after his death, married James Barker (1817-1893) in 1873. Her father and a brother immigrated in 1852, and her mother and the rest of the family came later. Descendants lived chiefly in New Zealand.

Hugh Leach was born about 1730, probably in Pennsylvania. He married Jane Forster in 1754 in Wilmington, Delaware, moved to Randolph County, North Carolina about 1776, and died there after 1814. Descendants have lived principally in North Carolina and surrounding states.

Descendants of Thomas Shone, jr. (1784-1868), the son of Thomas Shone and Mary Beck of Holborn, London, England; and Sarah Philips, whom he married in Newington, London in 1814. They emigrated with Scott's Party of 1820 to the Cape of Good Hope, South Africa. They had nine children. He had two additional children by Ann Hiscock after Sarah died in 1837, age 44. The family settled near Bathurst, Grahamstown, and Lushington Park, Cape Province.

William Van Horne was a Baptist minister who served as a chaplin in the Revolutionary War. He married Lavinia Budd of New Jersey in 1772 and they had 9 children. Later the family moved to Ohio where many of their descendants still reside. Information on both their ancestors and their descendants are included in this volume.
