Thomas Gawthrop (1774-1851) was the son of George Gawthrop (1743-1795) and Jane Allen (1753-1821). He married Elizabeth Thompson (1779- 1864), daughter of Daniel and Elizabeth Chambers Thompson of Mill Creek Hundred, New Castle County, Delaware, in 1800. They had eight children. Descendants lived in Maryland, Indiana, Pennsylvania, and elsewhere.

Merle Allison Rhines, son of Alva and Myrtle Rhines, lived on a farm in Marseille, Ill., there he also met and married Thelma Joyce Breese (b. 1909) in 1929. The early Breese ancestor, John Breese (1713-1803), married Dorothy Riggs at Basking Ridge, N.J. She was from Scotland....

Thones Kunders (1653-1729), a Quaker, married Lentgen Doors Matteisen in 1677, and emigrated from Germany to Germantown, Pennsylvania. A son, Cunraed Cunraeds (1678-1747), also a Quaker, married twice (once in Germany) and also immigrated to Germantown. Descendants (chiefly spelling the surname Conard, with some spellings of Conrad, etc.) lived throughout the United States. Includes some ancestry in Germany.

The Kunders family was part of a Mennonite group that sailed from Krefeld, Germany, on the ship "Concord" and settled at Germantown, Pennsylvania, in 1683. The head of the family was Thones Kunders, who was born in about 1653 in München-Gladbach, Prussia. He married Elin Tyson 31 May 1677. They had eight children. Thones died in 1729 in Germantown, Pennsylvania. Their descendants migrated to all parts of the U.S.

Samuel Butcher Sr. (d.1778) is said to have immigrated from England to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, and might have been the son of John Butcher Sr. Samuel moved later to land near Bloomfield, Loudon (now Fairfax) County, Virginia. Descendants and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio, Illinois and elsewhere.

John Jarrett Jr. (1719-1806) married Alice Conard or Cunnard, and lived in Jarrettown, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Zebulon Heston (ca.1670-1719), a Quaker, emigrated from England to Easthampton, Massachusetts, later moving to Burlington, New Jersey. Ibn 1698 he married Dorothy Hutchinson, also a Quaker, and they moved to Bucks County, Pennsylvania about 1707. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, kentucky, Ohio, Illinois, Missouri and elsewhere.
