Robert Corbett immigrated to New England ca. 1660. He married Priscilla Rockwood at Weymouth, Massachusetts, in 1682. His great grandson, John Corbett (b. 1746), a Revolutionary War soldier, married Lydia Cheney in 1786. Their son, Penuel Corbert, was born at Milford, Massachusetts, in 1789. Daniel James Corbett (1896-1984) son of Otis Corbett and Marie Johnson, was born in 1896 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He married Belva Permelia Dockstader in 1918. They had one child. He married Ida Ardella Jenson (d. 1944) in 1923. They had eight children. He married Engree Marie Dansie in 1949.
