Martin Cornelius was christened 28 March 1790 in Redruth, Cornwall, England. His parents were John Cornelius (1761-1830) and Ann Johns (1766-1815). He married Grace Williams in 1825. They had ten children. Ancestors and relatives lived mainly in Cornwall.

Henry Cornelius was born 19 August 1879 in Silver Reef, Utah. His parents were Henry Cornelius (1842-1895) and Mariam Leah Lee (1856-1942). He married Emma Bradshaw (1889-1971), daughter of Edward Elsey Bradshaw (1860-1936) and Mary Ellen Owens (1864-1919), 1 May 1914 in St. George, Utah. They had eleven children.

About the mid 1830s, Conrad Cornelius, Sr. married Elizabeth Dietzel. They lived in Unterellen, Eisenbach, Germany and raised four children to adulthood. The mother and possibly the father died before the children immigrated to the United States between 1867 and 1883.

Aaron Cornelius settled at Flushing, Long Island, after coming from Holland to America in 1639. He married twice and had four (or five) children. He died 28 February 1695. Descendants lived in New York, Massachusetts, Wisconsin, Kansas, California, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Michigan and elsewhere.

Cornelius Cole was born in 1822 in New York. His parents were David Cole (1788-1865) and Rachel Townsend (1790-1863). He became a lawyer, moved to California in 1849 during the Gold Rush and set up a law practice in San Francisco. He married Olive Colegrove (1833-1918) in 1852 and they had nine children. He was elected to the United States Senate in 1864. He died in 1922.

John Guthrie was born in about 1820 in Mifflin Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He married Catherine in about 1849. They had one known son, James Wesley Guthrie, born 1 December 1849.
