Description
James Sherlock Cantwell, son of Simon Cantwell (d. 1821) and Wilhelmina Sherlock (d. 1825), was born in 1813 in Dublin, Ireland. He married Elizabeth Cotterell Hamer in 1838 in Prestwich, England. They emigrated from England in 1850 and settled first in St. Louis, Missouri, continuing on to Salt Lake City, Utah in 1856. He died in 1887 in Smithfield, Utah.

Biography of Joseph Nephi Nemelka (1909-1971), a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, was born in Salt Lake City to German convert Carl Alois Nemelka and Elizabeth Lucas. He served a Swiss-German mission, and married Gayle Cotterall in 1934. Descendants and relatives lived in Utah and elsewhere.
