Description
Ulrich (Oolery) Sharr (1799-1840) was born in Germany. He married Elizabeth Redmiller (1804-1888). They had seven children, born in Philadelphia Co., Pennsylvania. The family migrated to Indiana, ca. 1840. He is buried in Jackson Township, Green County, Indiana. Elizabeth married (2) Solomon Carmichael in 1841. Several generations of descendants are given.

Peder Hans Hansen was born 25 May 1862 in Taastrup, Hellestad, Denmark. His parents were Hans Nielsen and Birgithe Marie Olsdatter. He married Inger Marie Jensen 10 May 1886 in Storeheddinge, Denmark. They had fourteen children. They emigrated in 1891 and settled in Wisconsin. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Wisconsin.

The Gillespy family descends from the Clan McPherson in northern Scotland. James Gillespy and his family emigrated from Kirkcudbright to America in 1740. They settled in Augusta County and later moved to Blount County, Tennessee after the American Revolution. Descendants inter-married with members of the Houston, Coulter and Alexander families.
