Joseph Crandall (ca.1661-1737), his fourth son, married twice and lived in Newport, Westerly, Kingstown and then in Newport again. Clyde B Crandall was born in 1901 in Payson, Utah to Thomas Crandall (187701928) and Ethel Adele Page (1879-1966). In 1924 he married Alice Fern Ravenscraft (1907-1992). They lived in Rupert, Idaho. He died in 1979 in Orem, Utah.

Rev. John Crandall was born in Wales and immigrated to America by the year 1634. He was a Baptist preacher who was openly persecuted for his religious opinions. The Church of Salem was forced to dismiss him from their pulpit and he was ordered to leave the colony within six weeks. He moved to Provindence, Rhode Island by the year 1637. John Crandall came to America in 1637. He was a Baptist minister and was associated with Obadiah Holmes and John Clarke in establishing the first Baptist church in America. John Crandall was also one of the founders of Rhode Island. He was the father of nine children. Descendants live throughout New England.

George Giddings (1610-1676) married Jane Lawrence in 1634, and emigrated before 1638 from England to Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts. William Henry Packard (1851-1917), a son of Orrin Packard and Matilda A. Stowell, was born in Utah. He was a grandson of Noah Packard, Jr., an early convert to the LDS Church. He married Cynthia Ernestine Perry (1856-1944), a daughter of William Howard Perry and Alice Stowell, in 1874. They had thirteen children. Descendants live throughout the intermountain west.

George Thorngate was born 30 April 1798 at Marlboro, England, married 18 Jan 1822 at Brownsville, N.Y. to Matilda Blanchard, and settled in Cattaraugus County, New York. Their daughter, Marianne married Charles P. Rood in 1844. He was a son of Burrell Rood. The family later moved to Wisconsin. Descendants lived in Wisconsin, Nebraska, and elsewhere.
