Beginning in 1806, Weston was a riverfront town situated on the Ohio River in the northeast part of Crittenden County, Kentucky. It was on Flynn's Ferry Road. Goods were unloaded at Weston and transported on this road to many other settlements. Settlers going north used the road day and night. The first post office was established in Weston in 1859.
