Richard Crockett was living in Somerset County, Maryland, by 1655, and was a joint heir, with John Evans, to all the land and property left by Nicholas Rice, in 1677. William Edward Crockett was born 20 March 1877 in Kaysville, Utah. His parents were Heber Lorenzo Crockett (1853-1879) and Agnes Rosina Moss (1856-1923). He married Daisy Hill (1881-1952), daughter of James Hill and Clara Ellen Rawlins, 16 November 1902 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They had four children. Robert Watkins Crockett, Jr., was born in Ireland in 1709, the son of Robert Watkins and Rachel Watkins Crockett. He and his wife, Margaret, had eight children, born ca. 1733-1747 in Ireland and Virginia. The family immigrated to America in 1740 and settled in Orange County, Virginia. He died in 1747.
