"More research is needed but the probable parents and siblings of William Crum were Abraham (Abram) Crum and Sarah Fry, both born about 1817. Silas Perdue Crum (1843-1926) was a son of Abraham Crum Jr. and Julia Anne Perdue, born in Rockymount, Franklin County, Virginia. He fought in the Civil War, first with the Confederate Army and in 1664/1665 with the Union Army. Chiefly a record of some of the descendants of Anthony Crum. He was in Virginia in 1774 where he purchased 600 acres of land. His first wife is the mother of his seven children. He remarried to Freny Cyphret 17 Sep 1795. He died between 1 Sep 1804 and 3 Dec 1804. Descendants lived in Virginia, Ohio, Maryland, California, Texas, and elsewhere.

Benjamin Harmon Crum (1842-1924) and Amanda Melviney Willis (1850-1922) were both born in Georgia and descended from early settlers of the Carolinas and Georgia. They married in 1866 and became the parents of eight children. Descendants of these eight children live in Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, California and other parts of the United States.

Charles Hamilton Ulm, son of Alfred Emanuel Ulm and Elizabeth Ammons, was born 5 Sep 1859 in Lincoln County, Georgia. He married Lalah Adella Hester, daughter of James Hester and Mary Jane White, on 21 Nov 1880. Charles died 18 Apr 1935 in Tifton, Georgia and Lalah died 19 Feb 1933 in Reno, Georgia. They had ten children. Their descendants have lived in Georgia, Tennessee, Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, and other areas throughout the United States.

Nathan Robertson was born ca. 1751 in Frederick or Prince Georges Co., Maryland. He married Elizabeth Speaks prior to 1771. They lived in Bourbon, Co., Kentucky from 1787 to 1801 and later settled near Charlestown, Indiana.
