Description
In 1918, the Supreme Court of Saskatchewan was divided into two courts: the Court of King's Bench and the Court of Appeals. The Court of King's Bench became the Court of Queen's Bench in 1952 when Queen Elizabeth became monarch.
The civil court records include divorce records.

Samuel Jones Current, son of Peter Current and Rebecca Jones, was born in 1821 in Virginia. He married Eliza J. Hobson (1822-1903), daughter of George Hobson and Sally, in 1843. He died in 1881 in Redkey, Indiana.

John Corrin Ladd, son of Corrin M. Ladd (b. 1884) and Beulah Lee Current, was born in 1913 in Starbuck, Washington. He married Betty Jean Demory, daughter of Ledoit Demory and Lela Beatrice Jett. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, Kentucky, North Carolina, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, Nova Scotia, Ontario and Washington. Includes Desmarais, Renfro and related families.

Thomas Current was born ca. 1759, probably in Scotland. He and his wife, Margaret, had ten children, 1780-ca. 1803. The family migrated from Maryland to Bourbon County, Kentucky, ca. 1793. He died near Paris, Kentucky, in 1865. His son, Matthew Current, was born in 1800 in Bourbon County. He married Jane Wilson Call in Harrison County, Kentucky, in 1824. They had eight children, 1830-1848. He was murdered in 1865 on his farm near Paris, Kentucky....

Christian Metzger (1727-1803) was born in Lorch, Württemberg, Germany. He immigrated to Pennsylvania in 1752 and later married Anna Catharine Haüser in 1755.
