The original immigrant was Thomas Bailey, Sr. (1602-1681), who came to America about 1639 and settled in Weymouth, Massachusetts. By 1623 in England he had married a Hester (Esther) or Lydia Slade.

Richard Porch lived in King George County, Virginia. He married Mary. They had two known sons, William and Thomas, and other children who are mentioned in his will, but whose names are not known. He died in 1750. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia.

Sarah Stone, daughter of Capt. Dixey Stone and his wife Mary Curtis Stone. She is a descendant of "John Stone [who] was living in Salem in 1636, and possibly earlier."--P. 3.
