Johann Heinrich Boettcher, son of Joseph Boettcher and Mary, was born n 1818 in Prussia. He married Sarah Ann Worden in 1851 in Wheatfield, New York. They had five children. He changed his name to John Henry Beyer.

Carl Heinrich Werckhausser was born in 1733 in Germany. He married Anna Margareth Hausman (1737-1781) in 1757. They had nine children. They emigrated in 1754. He died in 1782 in Easton, Pennsylvania.

John Ables (Abless) was born Jan. 1, 1780 in Amsterdam, Holland. John came to America as a child, leaving Holland in 1783 and landing alone in Philadelphia in 1784. It is not known whether his mother departed with him and his father. It also appears that his father did not complete the journey. John married two wives: Ann Borton, who died in 1813 in Oxford Ohio & Alazannah Cochran who died Nov. 11, 1854 in Salem, Iowa. Mr. Ables (Abless) died Sept....
