Thomas William Daly/Daley was born in about 1829. He married Ann Dodd in about 1849. They had seven children. They emigrated from Ireland in the 1850s and settled in Massachusetts. Hannah Martha Bowlby was born in about 1736 in Burlington, New Jersey. Her parents were John Bowlby and Mary Lanning. She married Edmund Palmer in about 1752. They had ten known children. The family moved to Rowan County, North Carolina in 1781. Hosea Berry (1777-1850/1860) was a direct descendant in the sixth generation of William Berry, and a son of Ebenezer Berry and Ruth Peck. Hosea was born in Kent, Litchfield County, Connecticut, and married Clarinda Slade in 1804. Their eight children were all born in Kent before the family moved to Sharon, Litchfield County, Connecticut. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, Delaware, Ohio, Indiana and elsewhere.
