Dalton is a township in the ecclesiasical parishes of Thrybergh and Rotherham, and a chapelry in Rotherham, Thrybergh and Ecclesfield. The part of it in Thrybergh parish is known as Dalton-Magna, and the part of it in Rotherham parish is known as Dalton-Parva. It includes the village of Dalton Brook.
