Marcus Daly was born December 5, 1841 in Ireland. His parents were Luke Daly and Mary Coyle. He immigrated to New York about 1856. He married Margaret Evans in 1872 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Marcus was known as one of the three "Copper Kings" of Butte, Montana. Marcus died November 12, 1900 in New York City.

Alonzo Daly, son of John Daly and Aca Ann Smith, was born in 1892 in Echo Township, Antrim County, Michigan. He married Rosa Edna Smith in 1921 in Mill City, Oregon. They had two daughters. He died in 1946.

Thomas William Daly/Daley was born in about 1829. He married Ann Dodd in about 1849. They had seven children. They emigrated from Ireland in the 1850s and settled in Massachusetts. He married Ellen Riley, daughter of Thomas Riley and Mary Leihan, in about 1873. They had one child. He died in 1888 in Holyoke, Massachusetts. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Massachusetts and Utah. Includes Burns and related families.

Johann Gottfried Kroh (1728-1810) was born at West Salem, Prussia. He immigrated to America where his child, William Crow (ca. 1770- 1850) was born in North Umberland County, Pennsylvania. Samuel Givens, Jr. (ca. 1693-1740) was born in Antrim County, Ireland, the son of Samuel Givens (b. ca. 1667). He married Sarah Cathey in 1718 in Antrim County. They had ten children, 1719-1740. The family immigrated to Virginia, ca. 1722, and probably settled in Augusta County, Virginia. Samuel Givens died in Orange County, Virginia. Descendants of his son, John Givens (1719-1790), listed lived in Virginia, Ohio, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, and elsewhere.
