Dale Ashman was born in 1910 in central Utah. He was the middle of seven children. He was active in school affairs and in 1933 he married Josie Anderson and they had four children. He ran a service station much of his life and was active in community affairs. He died in 1980. Charles Nye Ashman was born 2 April 1881 in Duckwater, Nye, Nevada, the son of John Thomas and Elizabeth Ann Ashton. He married Fannie Dearden, daughter of Thomas and Charlotte Davies Dearden, on 27 May 1903. Fannie was born 10 December 1885 in Fillmore, Utah. Charles died 5 May 1929 in Fillmore, Utah. Fannie died 6 June 1965 in Fillmore, Utah. The family lived mainly in Utah.

Thomas Swallow was born 2 January 1822 in Stebbing, Essex, England. His parents were Thomas Swallow and Mary Heard. He married Caroline Crow (1829-1891), daughter of William Crow and Eliza Cock, 24 March. They had seven children. He died in 1888 in Fillmore, Utah.

Richard Duerden (1830-1913) was born in Little Marsden, Lancashire, England. He married Elizabeth Bradshaw (1831-1864) in 1851 in Colne, Lancashire, England. They had three children. He married Sarah Ann Starkey 1866. They had nine children. He died in 1913 in Woods Cross, Utah.
