Henrich Geck or Henry Keck, Sr. (d. 1786) emigrated from Germany and settled in Chester County, Pennsylvania, in 1732. He served in the Revolutionary War. His great grandson, John "Guider" Keck (1823-1908), was born in Claiborne County, Tennessee, the son of John and Ann Ousley Keck. He married Rebecca Yaden, daughter of Jacob and Rachel Capps Yaden, in 1843. They had eleven children, 1844-1866. Descendants lived in Tennessee, Kentucky, and elsewhere.

Joseph Hildabrand was born in about 1789 in Lincoln County, North Carolina. His parents were Henry Hildebrand and Mary Warlick. He married Nancy Westray 23 February 1820 in Logan County, Kentucky. They had six children. He died in 1872 in Kentucky. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Kentucky.
