Emma Wheelock Frost (1866-1955) was born near Humansville, Polk County, Missouri, the daughter of Joshua and Elizabeth Frost. Her family moved to Arkansas ca. 1883. She married Allison James Denny (1862-1927) there in 1884. They had eight children, 1885-1913. Allison James Denny died on his farm near Alabama, Arkansas. Emma Denny died in a rest home at Tulsa, Oklahoma. Descendants lived in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Missouri and elsewhere....

Samuel Denny (d. after 1776) came to America before 1776 and married (?) Southard. They lived in Amherst, Virginia before moving to Surrey County, North Carolina. Descendants (later spelling the surname Denney) and relatives lived in North Carolina, Ohio, Indiana, Iowa and elsewhere.

Michael Book immigrated to America with his family sometime before the Revolutionary War, probably from Germany. His father was killed in the War and he served before migrating to Virginia with his wife. Michael and Mary Book were living at Fincastle, Botetourt County, Virginia, by 1784. Barnabas Gallagher/Gallaher (1722-1793) immigrated to York Co., Penn. in 1770 from either Scotland or Ireland. His wife's name is not mentioned, but he had five children. In 1782, he migrated to Westmoreland Co., Pennsylvania where he remained until his death. Descendants and relatives have scattered throughout the United States.

Descendants of Chistopher Denny (d. 1713), who immigrated to Maryland in 1665 with wife, Anna and sons, Christopher Jr. and Robert. Family lived in Talbot (now Queen Anne) County, Maryland. The third son of this couple, Philip (ca. 1680-1744), is the founder of the Denney family in Kent County, Delaware. He married ca. 1715 Margaret Jones?.

Morgan Sharpe was born in about 1871 in Owenton, Kentucky. His parents were William H. Sharpe and Sarah Morgan. He married Sarah Elizabeth Murphy (1881-1973), daughter of Nathaniel W. Murphy (1855-1935) and Anna Jane Smith (1857-1924), in 1904 in Lewistown, Illinois. They had six children. He died in 1909 in Canton, Illinois.

John Burnett (1511-1686) was of supporter of the Royalist cause of King Charles I of England, and received a land grand in Essex County, Virginia in 1638. Later, when Oliver Cromwell took over the English government, John Burnett and his family immigrated from Scotland to old Rappahannock County, Virginia, where he died.
