Description
A Cumberland Presbyterian Church was organized in Denton, Texas, in 1862. A denominational merger in May 1906 with the Presbyterian Church USA resulted in most of the members joining what became the Central Presbyterian Church, USA. In 1939 the name was changed to First Presbyterian Church, USA; in 1959 the name apparently changed to St. Andrew.

Description
The Cumberland Presbyterian Church was organized in Denton, Texas, in 1862. In May 1906 a denominational merger occurred between the Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the Presbyterian Church USA. Most of the members of the Denton church switched to the Presbyterian Church USA. The Cumberland Presbyterian Church diminished until in 1932 it was reorganized with a few members. It continues to be active up to the present (1995).
