He married Amelia Christena Despain Westover, daughter of Joanna Erickson and Henry Waters Despain, in 1909 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They had seven children. He died in 1957 in California.

George Dallimore (1799-1879) was born at Ston Easton, Somerset, England. He married Elizabeth Fry in 1821. They had five children before she died in 1837. In 1841, he married Harriet Harris (1815-1872). They had nine children. In 1869, they immigrated to Utah to join their children who had already joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. One son, George Ernest had emigrated to Australia in 1864.
