William Allin (1807-1880) married Mary Susan Banbury in 1833, and in 1835 they emigrated from Devonshire in England to land in Howard Township, Knox County, Ohio. John Valentine Kratz (1707-1780) emigrated from Germany to America on the ship "Friendship" in 1727, settling in Salford Township, Philadel phia (now Montgomery) County, Pennsylvania. He was married to Ann Clemens, by whom he had nine children. Many descendants of this large Mennonite family remained in Pennsylvania, while others migrated to Canada or moved into many other of the United States.

Gilbert and John Boorse (Gisbertus Boors and Johannes Bars) arrived at Germantown, Pennsylvania in 1731. John and his wife, Catherine had one daughter, Gedrue Catherine, before his death in 1755. Frederick Alderfer, pioneer settler of Lower Salford Township, then in Philadelphia, but now in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, was born in Stiensfurt, Germany, in 1715, the son of Hans Lienhart and Anna Barbara Altörfer. He immigrated to America in 1733. He married Anna Clemmer, widow of Hans Clemmer and daugher of Hans Detwiler, in Pennsylvania, in 1738. They had six children, 1739-1754. He died in 1801. Abraham Kensinger/Gansinger is the earliest descendant the author has be able to trace. He was born before 1750, lived in Pennsylvania, and died before March 1805. Abraham may have arrived in Philadelphia in August 1729. He and his wife (name unknown) had five children, Abraham, Daniel, Magdalina, Esther and Elizabeth.
