Description
Joseph Childers was born in about 1740. His son, James Childers, was born in about 1785, probably in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. He married Mary Anderson in about 1806. They had eight children. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Ohio, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma.

Joseph Cox, son of John Cox and Catherine Cull, was born 1 November 1783 in Virginia. He married Mary Rue in 1804 in Henry County, Kentucky. They had ten children. He died in 1848 in Rapids City, Illinois. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Nebraska and California.

Johan Daniel Focht, son of Andrew Focht (1773-1823) and Mary Elizabeth Walter, was born in 1794 in Berks County, Pennsylvania. He married Elizabeth Gerhart, daughter of Conrad Gerhart, in 1819. They had four known children. He died in 1871 in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.

William Farrie (ca.1745-1805), of Scottish lineage, emigrated in 1772 with his wife, Agnes, and their family from northern Ireland to Rocky Creek, Chester County, South Carolina, served in the Revolutionary War with the colonists, and moved to York County after 1778. Descendants (chiefly spelling the surname Faris) lived in South Carolina, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, South Dakota, Washington, California and elsewhere.
