She was born 4 April 1731 in Bern, Switzeland. She died about 1791 in Berks County, Pennsylvania. He died 10 April 1812 in Berks County, Pennsylvania. They had five children.

John Adam Diehl (1690-1755) was born in Unden Cappeln in the Rhine River Valley in Germany, the son of Hans George Diehl and Anna Catharina Hertz. In 1712 he married Maria Catherina Kreisher (b. 1696) of Homberg, daughter of John Daniel Kreisher and Anna Catherina Esch.
